FVJC-ES, OUR HISTORY

OUR HISTORY:

FVJC-Emek Shalom was established in 1960 by a small group of families who were new to the Farmington Valley and were seeking a synagogue. Together they worked to build a community from across the spectrum of Jewish practice. We are affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ) with 260+ memberships, many of which are interfaith and engaging with the values of Judaism, all contributing to our k’hillah k’doshah, a holy community.
