Shabbat Morning Minyan and Neshama, Saturdays, 10:00am
January 7, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
Shabbat Morning Minyan and Neshama, Saturdays, 9:00am (please see our calendar)
Minyan is our intimate, clergy or lay lead worship service on Saturday mornings (when there is not a Bar or Bat Mitzvah). It begins at 9:00 am and concludes by 9:45 am; followed by a nosh and exploratory Torah study, called Neshama. In Jewish mysticism we learn that the soul and Torah were created together and have the same spiritual roots, so in studying Torah we also delve into the depth of our soul. Each session will engage our senses in different ways with various media to unpack the text, derive meaning from it, and connect it to our lives. All of our Neshama sessions are participatory, warm, relaxed, need no prior knowledge and add another dimension to our worship experience.
