In the last email blast, the date for the Sisterhood Comedy Night was noted as March 30, 2009. It is actually March 28.
Our next Sisterhood Book Club Night will be February 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Robin Schwartz (88 Harris Road, Avon). The book to be discussed is Dropped from Heaven by Sophie Judah. This book is a collection of nineteen stories that "explore the little-known Jewish community of Bene Israel in India over the course of more than a century." Judah's stories of her native India are "packed with humor and sorrow, human courage and folly, and moments of unexpected grace."
