Join us this Sunday, March 1 at 9:15 AM in the Social Hall to our kick off meeting of the Men’s Club. Your participation, especially in the next few months, is crucial to determine how the club can better serve the synagogue, its members and our families. We will have the opportunity to make new friends, see old ones, share professional interests and hobbies, invite guest speakers, organize day trips, foster a sense of community, and serve our Temple.
The Men’s Club will be successful only if it caters to the needs of its members. For this reason I ask you to please Carlos Fuentes, Men's Club Chairman, a line with suggestions on what you think can make the Men’s Club a vibrant addition to our synagogue.

Join us on Sunday, April 19 from 4-6 p.m., for a fascinating talk from Alice Feiring, New York Times Best-Selling Author of "The Battle for Love and Wine." The book documents her journey to discover biodynamic wines. Feiring makes an argument for wine authenticity through adherence to old techniques. She's against what she calls Big Wine—viticulture as business and technology—and blames the shrinking appreciation for hand-vinified, long-aged Old World wines on, among other things, the UC–Davis School of Enology and Viticulture and the wine writings of critic Robert M. Parker Jr.
Organic and biodynamic wines will be available for tasting. They will be accompanied by good food, including dessert from Mozzicato's.
Tickets are only $18 each before April 18, or $120 for a Table of 8. Click here for more details about the event or click here to see the flyer.
