Passover Food Drive

Passover is coming soon! Our 19th annual Passover Food Drive will be from February 28th - March 14th.  All of our donations, labeled Kosher for Passover, will go to Jewish Family Services in West Hartford for distribution to needy Jewish families.  Did you know that OUR congregation donates more Passover food every year than any other congregation in the area? Did you know that only OUR congregation donates the food in a handled bag beautifully decorated by our religious school students?  Listed below are the Kosher for Passover Food items we are hopeful each Religious School grade will bring in.

Kindergarten - Boxes of Matzah
Grade1 - Kosher for Passover Grape Juice
Grade 2 - Kosher for Passover Matzah Ball Mix and/or Chicken Soup Mix
Grade 3 - Kosher for Passover Gefilte Fish
Grade 4 - Kosher for Passover Borsht
Grade 5 - Kosher for Passover Cake or Brownie Mix or Macaroons
Grade 6 - Kosher for Passover Canned fruit or Jars of Applesauce
Grade 7 - Boxes of Kosher for Passover Matzah

We hope the entire congregation will participate in the mitzvah by bringing in any of the above Kosher for Passover food items. The entire Social Action Committee thanks you for your generosity and wishes you all a Sweet Pesach.   If you have any questions, kindly contact Wendy Saffer at 673-6223 or at farmpass@gmail.com.
