Adult B'Nai Mitzvah
Do you regret not becoming a Bar or Bat Mitzvah as a teenager? FVJC has a two-year Adult B'nai Mitzvah program, which has provided hundreds of adults the opportunity to:
- learn Hebrew
- learn the rituals of Bar/Bat Mitzvah
- form lasting relationships with fellow classmates
This two-year course of study includes Hebrew, history, prayer, ethics, mysticism, Jewish law, life cycle, holidays, customs, The Holocaust and Jewish texts. FVJC-ES has offered this class for the 29 years and we’re proud of all our Adult B’not Mitzvah students. The class meets for one hour a week on Sunday mornings in the Rabbi’s office, beginning November 23 at 10:00 a.m.
