Have you ever thought about our Temple and the emptiness that sometimes exists within its four walls? Well, let’s look at changing that! Part of our mission is to provide a broader range of activities at FVJC-ES.
It’s terrific to see the establishment of the Triple Chai Group, our “over fifty” congregants’ activities organ. Thank you Lois Saffer and others, for beginning this group. In fact, their next meeting is scheduled this month for the Simsbury Inn, if you would like to attend – see their “ad” on this same page.
Maybe you had the opportunity to view “Jews in America,” on a Sunday afternoon on our recently donated HD widescreen TV and are looking forward to the rest of the “February Flicks.”
Now is the time for you to step up to the challenge. Could your expertise be of interest to our congregation? We want to provide additional speakers after Kabbalat Services, just as Loel Goldblatt recently led a session on Jewish Genealogy. We Need You! Please help us build our Temple talent/interest “bank” by filling out this survey. Your input will help us create more opportunities for the congregation to grow as a community! We encourage all congregants to fill out the survey and return it to the Temple office.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
