The Jewish Federation of Greater Hartford has been awarded funding for the Jewish Summers Campership Program. The funds will provide incentive grants for eligible campers to attend Jewish Overnight Camps.
Many of us know the transformative power that Jewish Overnight Camping has for building Jewish identity in children and teens. We are so excited to help to make that happen for even more children and families in our community.
The funds were made available from the Zachs Family Foundation and a match from the Foundation for Jewish Camping and the Jewish Funders Network. The Foundation for Jewish Camping, a public foundation, is the only national organization dedicated to nonprofit Jewish resident camps, advancing program and leadership excellence in camps and access to vibrant Jewish experiences for campers.
