The Connecticut Z’mirah Chorale, under the direction of Kevin Mack, will join Cantor Susan Levine. They will not only enhance our workship, but will teach us about the long and rich Jewish choral tradition, as they sample works of Jewish liturgical music through the ages. The Z’mirah Chorale, currently in its 2nd year, attracts dedicated and enthusiastic singers from around the state. They perform at civic events and at a number of Connecticut synagogues. |

and learn about how our ancestors taught us to
remember our loved ones who have died. How did this tradition
start and why? What is the significance of the Jewish community
coming together to remember? As we mark Passover Yizkor, we will
learn about the roots of this custom as well. Please join us.
