We are delighted that you have taken the time to learn more about the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation-Emek Shalom.

Our temple was incorporated with the UAHC as a reform congregation in 1960. We began as twelve Jewish families coming together in a Simsbury home.

Today, our congregation includes almost 400 families. Nearly one-third of our congregation belongs to an interfaith family. We offer a variety of celebrations, education programs, and worship opportunities for our varied interests.
