Ensures that FVJC-Emek Shalom's home at 55 Bushy Hill Road in Simsbury is in good condition, that repairs and maintenance occur on a timely basis, etc. | |
Membership |
Plans and manages all membership recruitment and retainment programs. Ensures new members are oriented and introduced to their fellow members. | |

Publicity |
Manages communications to members and community, through FVJC.org, The Shofar, and other area media. | |
Religious |
Coordinates the scheduling of Bar/Bat Mitzvah dates, the logistical aspects of holiday celebrations, and coordinates the Membership Directory. | |
Sisterhood |
The FVJC-Emek Shalom Sisterhood brings together women from across the congregation to servce the congregation, network, and strengthen our bonds as a community. | |
Social Action |
Coordinates all FVJC-Emek Shalom's civic programs and projects, including Food Drives, social awareness, and work with other organizations in the area. | |
Web Site |
Ensures that FVJC.org and other electronic communications are working, and provide the best service and information to our members and community. | |
Youth Services |
Oversees the monthly Kids Shabbat program, and other youth activities. |
